Pick Chix 2025 golf season at Pickering Golf Club!
Key dates:
August 12th - People Food Bank Fun day (donations, fun and breakfast)
September 16th - McWayward Hayward Tournament
September 23rd - Pick Chix Closing date with lunch.
September 30th - Closing day rain/snow day

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 12th for our next Pick Chix event.
It will be a 'Wear Your Brightest Day" so wear your most colourful, loud, or brightest golf outfit so we all stand out on the course. We will supply breakfast like muffins, pastries, fruit etc with coffee so come early and indulge.
We ask that you bring something for the FOOD BANK. (Please no expired or past best before date items). As an added incentive for each item you bring you will get a ticket which you can put in a jar to win a fabulous prize. There will be a choice of 5 wonderful gift items to put your tickets towards. A ticket out of each will be drawn by the golf course staff while we are golfing then you can come in after and see what you may have won.
Stay after for a drink and take some photos and share them on our facebook page. (Pick Chix Ladies Golf League).
Some items the food bank needs now are:
Baby food, Pancake mix, Peanut Butter, Maple Syrup, Halal items, Juice, Canned Corn, Corned Beef, Canned Meats, Canned Tomatoes, Granola Bars, Canned Fruits, Tomato Paste, Cooking Oils, Hygiene Products, Dry beans (chickpeas and kidney).
